Hi! I'm Jun, a Zi Wei Dou Shu enthusiast.

I created this chart plotter because existing ZWDS calculators didn’t meet my needs. For example, I wanted a quick way to view decade charts for childhood ages and trace Lu and Ji using sticky lines. Different calculators offered different features, which was inconvenient and pricey, so I merged all the necessary features into this app.

With the encouragement of my Sifu and friends, I decided to share my app with the public at an affordable price, primarily to cover server costs and support ongoing updates and improvements. In doing so, I can develop and perfect my software while also promoting the knowledge of Zi Wei Dou Shu.

Soon after, I began to implement more and more features to cater to various users. However, too many features can be overwhelming, so everything is customizable to suit a practitioner's needs. After all, there are many schools of thought in Zi Wei Dou Shu. For instance, the Si Hua Northern lineage alone has over 10 different schools, while the Southern lineage has even more.

Do you offer paid chart reading services?

I usually only do chart reading for my family, friends, and their acquaintances. However, you can try emailing me with your life's concerns, and if we have an affinity, I'll be more than happy to help.

Please note that you must provide evidence of your time of birth (eg. birth certificate) before I can accept you. I take my chart readings very seriously and will not consult if a person's chart is not accurate.

I found a bug in your software. What should I do?

If you encounter a bug or error in the software, please notify me as soon as possible.

You can email me with a description of the issue, including any error messages and steps to reproduce the bug. Your feedback is invaluable, and I will prioritize fixing the issue to ensure a smooth experience for all users. Thank you for helping improve the software!

Can your app calculate San He charts?

Not at the moment, as it would require a significant amount of time. There are really a lot of customizations needed to cater to all users; for instance, the brightness levels of the Stars vary among the different sub-schools of the Northern lineage. On top of that, there are hundreds of Stars to add.

However, if there is enough demand, I will certainly dedicate the time necessary to develop a San He (Southern school) compatible calculator for everyone.

Which lineage or schools do you recommend?

Zi Wei Dou Shu is an ancient art with roots tracing back over a thousand years. As such, it's not surprising that there are many interpretations of this astrology framework. My personal opinion is that every school has its pros and cons, and they have only persisted because a significant part of them works.

I recommend testing them out for yourself to find what works best for you and which sub-systems are the most accurate in reading your life's past events. In one of these lineages lies the one that will have the most affinity with your life!

Another closely related site is Objective Personality; while it requires a monthly subscription, it provides fun videos to learn 32+ personalities better.

Lastly, there’s the Enneagram system, which delves into ego identities and personal growth. However, there’s no single site to recommend. You'll need to consult various sources to fully grasp the Enneagram's complexities.
